Conscious Discipline
“Discipline isn’t something you do to children, it’s something you develop within them”
- Dr. Becky Bailey, Conscious Discipline
Anna Wallace, Ashley Waker, Claire Greco, Bryn Buikema
The story of Conscious Discipline is the story of a teacher.
Dr. Becky Bailey, saw an education system full of hurting children and frustrated educators and knew that there had to be a better way.
The result was Conscious Discipline, a trauma-informed, brain-based self-regulation program rooted in neuroscience, child development research and psychology. Conscious Discipline teaches adults to foster safety and connectedness, unleashing the ability to learn and problem-solve. Both children and adults learn to manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, empowering them to reach their goals.
Today, Conscious Discipline has reached 47 countries and been translated into 22 languages, impacting the lives of thousands of adults and 17.4 million children.
